Tenure-Track Professor in Chemical Engineering

The Department of Chemical Engineering and Materials Science invites applications from outstanding candidates to fill a faculty postiion.  The position is open at the Assistant (tenure-track), Associate, or Full Professor levels.  Applications are especially encouraged from individuals whose research emphasizes biological/biochemical engineering, biomaterials, systems biology or synthetic biology.  However, full consideration will be given to all excellent candidates.

The successful candidate is expected to develop a world-class, externally funded research program and contribute to the highly interdisciplinary educational and service mission of the Department and the University.  A Ph.D. in Chemical Engineering or closely related field is required.  Associate and full professor candidates should also have several years of quality teaching and/or research experience and a proven publication record.
