When using the University network in any fashion, one agrees to be responsible for reading and complying with the University's Acceptable Use Policy available online here:

Please do not attempt to install additional software on any lab computer. If you feel a software application should be installed, please send an email to the CEMS IT Office at support@cems.umn.edu.

You may use the Display Settings to alter the color and appearance of your profile's desktop and toolbar. If you select a background image for your desktop, it should be appropriate for this setting.

Important
Please store documents you wish to have backed up on your home (H:\ drive) or My Documents. Undergraduate computer accounts have a quota of 1Gb for storage. Your roaming profile and your home directory will be backed up on a nightly basis.

Your password must be changed every 180 days. You should receive an email notice before your password needs changing.
