Field Trip to Santa Fe

The destination is Santa Fe, New Mexico, from September 18 to 21, 2008.  CEMS Alumni and guests can soak up the history, art and culture that make Santa Fe one of the most interesting places to visit in the country.

Some of the sites included in the itineray are:

  • Palace of the Governors, built in 1609, and other historic builings around the plaza
  • Muesum Hill, including the International Folk Art Museum, the Museum of Indain Arts and Culture, and the Museum of Spanish Colonial Art
  • Ildefonso Pueblo which lies in the shadow of Black Mesa, famous for its pottery
  • A trip up the old Taos High Road to see the historic mission churches
  • Pecos, the historic pueblo Indian and Spanish Colonial trading center
