    • Closed book
    • Calculator and 8.5" X 11" paper with notes written on front and back allowed
    • Material through 10/09 lecture is fair game. This includes decision-making and materials balances for Levels 1-3, financial basics such as NPV and DCFRR, sizing a reactor and consideration of heat effects, material in handouts (e.g. mechanical energy balance, sizing a compressor), and vapor recovery systems (e.g. flash separator).
10/12: Homework #4 Problem #6 has a typo- in the flow rate specifications, the first component is listed as benzene, C6H6. It should actually be ethane, C2H6. This makes the component list identical to what is found in the tutorial.
