Professor Renata M.M. Wentzcovitch named a Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS)

Dec. 3, 2012 - Professor Renata M.M. Wentzcovitch has been awarded the honor of Fellow of the American Association for the Advancement of Science (AAAS), which is the world's largest general scientific society. Election as an AAAS Fellow is an honor bestowed upon AAAS members by their peers. As part of the section on Physics, Renata is recognized for pioneering contributions to theory and simulations of materials at high pressures and temperatures and applications of interdisciplinary impacts on geophysics. New Fellows will be honored at the AAAS Fellows Forum during the 2013 AAAS Annual Meeting in Boston, Mass. on February 16, 2013.
