For Industry
We welcome inquiries from industry about research interactions. The most common mode of interaction is through the University of Minnesota’s IPRIME (Industrial Partnership for Research in Interfacial and Materials Engineering), but there are others as listed below. IPRIME IPRIME membership offers many advantages. In short IPRIME members gain access to current research, opportunities for collaboration and visits, and participation in the Technical Advisory Committee that recommends research directions. Support of Coatings Visualization Lab Companies particularly interested in visualization of coating processes can support the Coatings Visualization Lab. The lab is supported by a generous gift from Lynn and Susan Orr. Current companies supporting the lab are: Nitto Denko, Fujifilm, Dai Nippon Printing, Reiko, Kimoto, Boston Scientific, 3M and Mitsubishi Chemical. For information contact Wieslaw Suszynski. Sponsored Research Sponsored research projects are projects that require specific goals or deliverables and therefore a research contract. If your company is interested in this type of research, contact Lorraine Francis. Consulting Many of the CPFP faculty consult with companies on a fee basis. Faculty should be contacted individually based on their expertise. |
