The Coating Process Fundamentals Short Course will be offered June 8 - 10, 2010, with a Primer Course Session on June 7. This 3-day course covers fundamentals from liquid coating flows and application methods to solid coating development. The course is taught by a team of University and industrial lecturers. Lab tours and a complete set of notes are included. This course provides coating engineers and their colleagues with an understanding of the principles of the many processes by which liquid coatings are applied and solidified. The course is designed for engineers who are engaged in coating and who seek a deeper understanding of processes and processing problems. It is also relevant to physical scientists concerned with the formulation of coating liquids for processability and microstructure development. See the links below for more information: |
