Efie was invited to attend the National Academy of Engineering's 2007
U.S. Frontiers of Engineering symposium. This symposium brings together
eighty-three of the nation's brightest young engineers from industry,
academia, and government. Each participant was nominated by fellow
engineers or organizations and chosen from more than 260 applicants.

targeted delivery to colon cancer cells" at the 2007 Gordon Conference
"Biomaterials: Biocompatibility/Tissue Engineering" they took the

Chuan, Efie, coadvisor Prof. Tsapatsis, and colleagues from CEMS-UMN,
Department of Chemistry at UMN, and Department of Mathematics and
Statistics at UMASS, publish their work on "Mechanistic Principles of
Nanoparticle Evolution to Zeolite Crystals" in Nature Materials.
