Graduate students selected as finalists in Dow SISCA Challenge

Dec. 2, 2015 - The University of Minnesota has selected 10 finalists for the $10k Dow Sustainability Innovation Student Challenge Award (SISCA), and two CEMS research teams are among the ten competing for the top award. Best of luck to Alex Mannion, Tessie Panthani, Debbie Schneiderman (Chemistry) and Marie Vanderlaan (Chemistry) for their project, "Sustainable and Recyclable Polyurethane Foams" and Maria McClintock for her project, "Developing a Portfolio of Value-added Monomers from Fermentation of Lignocellulosic Feedstocks." Winners will be announced tomorrow, December 3, 2015. Good luck!
