Jalan receives 2016 Young Investigator MBE Award

July 15, 2016 - Assistant Professor Bharat Jalan has been selected by the International Advisory Committee of the International Conference on Molecular Beam Epitaxy (MBE) to receive a 2016 Young Investigator MBE Award for excellence and international leadership in use of metal-organic molecular beam epitaxy to synthesize and understand complex oxide heterostructures in pursuit of new electronic materials. This prestigious international honor is only awarded once every two years, and Jalan will receive a cash prize and engraved plaque at the 19th International Conference on Molecular Beam Epitaxy in Montpellier, France in September 2016.
