- CEMS graduate students Yaming Jiang and Stacey Saba have been awarded Louise T. Dosdall Fellowships for the 2016-2017 academic year. Awarded by the University of Minnesota Graduate School, the Louise T. Dosdall Fellowship awards women graduate students who show exceptional promise for a successful career in the natural or physical sciences or engineering fields where women are underrepresented. The awardees are selected each year for their strength of academic record as well as the cohesiveness and significance of the research plan. The fellowship will provide a financial award, paid tuition, and subsidized health insurance for the upcoming academic year. Saba is advised by Professor Marc Hillmyer and studies the design of porous block polymers for applications in water purification Jiang is co-advised by Professors Timothy Lodge and Theresa Reineke and researches DNA-cationic micelle complexation for potential applications in drug delivery.
