Ethical issues arise frequently in scientific publishing, for Editors, for Reviewers, and for Authors. This seminar will review some of the more obvious ones, such as fraud, plagiarism, bias, and appropriate authorship, and also identify a few more subtle issues. Simple but effective strategies for avoiding ethical errors will also be described.

Seminars are open to alumni, friends of the Department, and the general public.
